La Revue du Vin de France January - 2020
La Revue du Vin de France
Green Guide 2020 A touch of exoticism enlivens this sweet wine with finesse, featuring an angular edge and peppery flavors that give it an extremely sparkling length. A majestic and refined balance.

Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
The 2018 Vouvray Le Haut-Lieu Moelleux is clear and seductively ripe on the elegant, still yeasty nose with a mineral backbone and its chalky background. Sweet and lush but fine and filigreed on the palate, this is a salty, frisky, elegant, densely woven and well-structured Haut-Lieu with fine tannins and a long, complex finish that is rich and finessed at the same time, with lingering piquancy and stimulating salinity. This 2018 is a very charming but also serious Chenin Blanc with fine tannins, good tension and aging potential.

Wine Spectator
Round and harmonious, with a suave texture and notes of ripe Bosc pear, white peach and elderflower. Shows hints of brioche and glaze, while the acidity cuts through, giving this balance and vibrancy.

Jancis Robinson January - 2020

There is the beauty and contradiction of wine: that a sip of landlocked cool-climate Loire Chenin can transport you to the hot sunshine of sea-surrounded Greek Cyclades islands. Figs, honey, lemon, cream, dust, wild flowers, light. Mellifluous is the word used to describe moelleux wines, and this wine owns that lilting word. Tempting to drink it now, but wait, wait, wait, wait.

Domaine Huet

Domaine Huet is a renowned wine estate located in Vouvray, France, in the Loire Valley. Founded in 1928 by Victor Huet and his son Gaston, the estate is famous for producing exceptional wines from the Chenin Blanc grape variety. The Huet family has been making wines in Vouvray for over 90 years. They are pioneers of biodynamic viticulture and have been practicing this holistic approach since the early 1980s. The estate's philosophy is to produce wines that express the unique character of their terroir.

The vines are planted on three distinct terroirs: - Le Mont: a siliceous and clay-limestone terroir that produces elegant and complex wines. - Le Haut-Lieu: a clay-rich terroir that produces powerful and structured wines. - Clos du Bourg: a limestone terroir that produces rich and round wines.
