Indeed, the 2022 Vouvray Le Mont Moelleux reflects the vintage’s warm conditions with a ripe, complex bouquet of pear, white peach, exotic fruits, kumquat and floral notes. Medium- to full-bodied, it is concentrated and structured yet retains a sense of poise and lift. A delicately fleshy core of fruit is framed by bright acidity, leading to a long, ethereal finish. This is an exquisite and precise wine, particularly impressive given the solar nature of the vintage.

Lite sweeter wine, much less viscous than expected. Which was a fun surprise, but I’m less experienced with sweet vouvray Tropical notes with some honey. Little bit of heat late in the finish, slightly muted fruit / dusty. Nice and light sweet wine

Domaine Huet is a renowned wine estate located in Vouvray, France, in the Loire Valley. Founded in 1928 by Victor Huet and his son Gaston, the estate is famous for producing exceptional wines from the Chenin Blanc grape variety. The Huet family has been making wines in Vouvray for over 90 years. They are pioneers of biodynamic viticulture and have been practicing this holistic approach since the early 1980s. The estate's philosophy is to produce wines that express the unique character of their terroir.

The vines are planted on three distinct terroirs: - Le Mont: a siliceous and clay-limestone terroir that produces elegant and complex wines. - Le Haut-Lieu: a clay-rich terroir that produces powerful and structured wines. - Clos du Bourg: a limestone terroir that produces rich and round wines.
