Expert's opinions
This is a sexy, opulent, well-endowed example of the Medoc's most exotic wine. The 1994 Haut-Marbuzet is surprisingly low in acidity, with excellent ripeness, sweet, smoky, grilled toast, jammy black currant aromatic and flavor profiles, and long, round, luscious flavors that caress the palate with no hard edges. This is a plump, succulent wine that readers will find delicious. Drink it over the next decade.

Château informations
Château Haut-Marbuzet is a 61-hectare wine estate owned by the Duboscq family, located in Saint-Estèphe. It is a Médoc AOC and is classified as an exceptional Cru Bourgeois. The work of the Duboscq family has made Château Haut-Marbuzet a wine of the highest quality among Saint-Estèphe wines. Château Haut Marbuzet is also full of charm in its youth, developing wonderful spicy notes and red fruit aromas. Considered by some as the most Burgundian of Bordeaux wines, Château Haut Marbuzet was designated as Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel during the revision of the Crus Bourgeois classification in June 2003.
