The Clos de la Roche appellation is a French AOC which produces Burgundy wines, and is above all a Burgundy Grand Cru. Located in the northern part of Morey-Saint-Denis, this grand cru is planted on slopes culminating between 250 and 300 meters above sea level, in the extension of the latricières-Chambertin.

Covering an area of 13 hectares, the grape variety harvested there is Pinot Noir. The appellation includes several localities operated by many owners and does not form a real estate. Installed on a limestone soil made up of large stones which gave it its name, it gives its wines intended for aging, powerful and tannic, with a complex bouquet of wild cherry. Clos de la Roche appellation wines have a very long aging potential. There is an average of 10 to 20 years of sleep in the cellar for a bottle, up to 30 to 50 years for bottles of great vintages.
