The color is still quite young with a dark purple core and only a hint of brown at the rim. The nose is still on theprimary side (blackcurrant and blueberries), but also with a bordeaux-like touch of warn earth and brick tiles. After some time in the glass the aromas acquires more of those provencal herb tones (thyme and rosemary). Full bodied attack, lots of acidity and fine tannins up front. The mid palate is dry and dominated by mineral flavors, while the finish is more on the fruity side - blackberries and blackcurrant. Fine length, but not very concentrated. A wine that has evolved very well and will keep for a long time, but that is perfect to drink now with some hearty food.
