Cork slightly opened. Color: a slight brown color appears on the disc. Nose: On blond tobacco, humus, mushrooms... Very good. In the mouth: the tannins are melted, the wine fills the mouth well. We have good aromatic persistence. Unfortunately it was the last. Excellent

Well-colored and rather fruity on the nose, pleasing for its flesh and good structure. Rather fleshy for the vintage, it also offers tannins without harshness and flavor on the finish without being very long. Can start to be enjoyed now.

Very aromatic, with blackberry, blueberry and mint. Medium-bodied, featuring fine tannins and a caressing finish with a refined texture. Just right.

(9-2009) Light to mid crimson. Not much on the nose but lots of rather aggressive fruit and very chewy tannins on the palate. Something a little rusty nail about it on the finish at the moment. Maybe it will blossom eventually?

Château Sociando Mallet
Château Sociando-Mallet Cru Bourgeois, a wine from Haut-Médoc in Gironde. Château Sociando-Mallet is a wine prized by fine wine enthusiasts, as evidenced by its annual success in en primeur sales. Jean Gautreau's wine is one of the great overlooked wines from the 1855 classification. Because it is not officially part of the nobility of classified growths of the Médoc - even though it competes with more than a few - Château Sociando-Mallet must remain modest in terms of pricing. It thus offers one of the best value-for-money ratios among all great Bordeaux wines!
