Expert's opinions
Dark red. Intense. Black. Clear. Intense. Fine. Fruity. Fresh and deep. Similar. Very fresh. Nuanced. I am probably tasting here one of the most accomplished La Mondotte wines, the best crafted in a difficult vintage. First, it enchants with the precision of its attack, its smoothness, before becoming a little more slender. For a few seconds, it reminds me that 2002 is not really the vintage for limestone terroirs. At that moment, I forget its body, so captivated am I by a strong aroma of violet and licorice. Then the wine perfumes the mouth and finishes long, very fresh, fruity and slightly oaky. Very original.
