La Tâche Appellation
La Tâche is one of the most prestigious appellations in Burgundy. Classified as a Grand Cru de Bourgogne and holding the AOC La Tâche designation since 1936, it is located in the village of Vosne-Romanée, at the heart of the Côte de Nuits. This exceptional vineyard of only 6 hectares constitutes a monopoly of the celebrated Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC), one of the most sought-after estates in the world. Produced exclusively from Pinot Noir, the wines of La Tâche are distinguished by their depth, elegance and remarkable aromatic complexity. Their ageing potential regularly exceeds 30 to 50 years in great vintages. Among the most sought-after vintages of the La Tâche appellation are notably 1945, 1978, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2005 and 2016 wine, true references for lovers of great old wines and collectors.
