Appellation La Romanée
La Romanée is one of the most prestigious appellations in Burgundy and a Grand Cru de Bourgogne located at the heart of Vosne-Romanée, in the Côte de Nuits. With only 0.85 hectares, it is the smallest AOC appellation in France. Producing exclusively red wines from Pinot Noir, La Romanée benefits from an exceptional terroir of perfectly exposed clay-limestone soils. The wines of La Romanée Grand Cru are distinguished by their finesse, aromatic depth, elegance and remarkable ageing potential, often exceeding 20 years.
