 The vineyard of Château Cadet-Piola was established in the mid-18th century. Today, it comprises 7 hectares of vines, consisting of 51% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Pressac. The vines are approximately 35 years old and are rooted in clay-limestone soil. The harvest is carried out manually, and sorting is done directly on the vine during the harvest. The wines are then aged in barrels before bottling. The average production is 32,000 bottles per year. At Château Cadet-Piola, emphasis is placed on the importance of terroir. It must fully express itself and reveal the authenticity of its origins. The wines are balanced, with the wood not overshadowing the freshness and complexity of the wine.
