Château La Pointe

Château La Pointe is a wine estate in the Bordeaux region. The château produces wines in the Pomerol appellation. The grape varieties consist of Merlot (85%) and Cabernet Franc (15%), and the average age of the vines is 35 years. The name La Pointe comes from the geometry of the vineyard which is located near Libourne, to the west of the Pomerol appellation.

Regarding the wines, Château La Pointe's nose expresses notes of black fruits (cherry, blackberry), spices and toasted bread. The palate offers elegant and refined tannins, with finesse and persistence. The ample finish shows great aging potential. We recommend the Château La Pointe 2006 and the Château La Pointe 2010.
