Henri Bonneau is a wine estate in the Rhône region. Located in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the estate covers only 6 hectares of vineyards. The grape varieties grown there are Grenache (85%), Mourvèdre, and Syrah, planted on the prestigious Crau plateau. With a terroir characteristic of Châteauneuf du Pape: rolled pebbles, the Henri Bonneau estate produces highly expressive Rhône wines.
The specificity of the wines produced here is that they come from old vines with very low yields. The cellar dates back to the 17th century, and the barrels are covered with dust and moss, contrary to modern methods. The aging of red and white wines is very specific as it will last between 5 and 8 years until bottling.
