Expert's opinions
The 2010 Vosne-Romanée Village is still showing nicely, though I suspect its best days are three or four years behind it. Opening in the glass with pretty aromas of red berries, smoked duck, wilted rose petals and orange rind that are framed, at this stage in the wine's evolution, by tertiary nuances, it's medium-bodied, velvety and incisive, with a pretty core of perfumed fruit and a tangy spine of acidity.
